Jack Wilshere is in a battle to be fit for West Ham’s crucial Premier League game at Everton on Sunday.

The midfield player, signed from Arsenal on a free transfer in the summer, has missed the last two days of training because of an injury to his left ankle.

He is desperate to be involved at Goodison Park as he fights to make an impact at West Ham.

The 26-year-old midfielder has missed more than 150 games through injury since his debut in 2008.
