Rapper Kodak Black will be released fro jail next month after judge reduces his sentence.
Kodak Black,(21), was originally expected to be released around October, with good behavior, but with the updated court order the Broward County Sheriff’s Office now lists his expected release date as August 18.
According to reports, the judge granted a motion filed by Kodak Black’s legal team which will give him an additional 30 days of time served, bringing the grand total to 120.
He was arrested this year and charged with multiple felonies in January 2018 after an Instagram Live broadcast showed a young child in the vicinity of marijuana and a handgun. He plead guilty to probation violation and his other charges were dropped after he was sentenced to one year in jail but the judge has now reduced his sentence.
On Tuesday, April, 17, court records were showing he’s been sentenced to serve one year behind bars. However, he had a chance to get out on good behavior, and has already served 90 days. Now, He will be out of the cells next month, August, 18, according to Blast.
