NRM Leaders fail to agree over state house unit.

Sections of Historicals and leaders in the National Resistance movement in Uganda have appealed to President Museveni to drop the proposed idea of creation of a separate anti corruption unit at state House.

President Yoweri Museveni in a section of his speech last week announced he was creating a separate unit to investigate corruption cases in Government department.

According to the secretary General Kasule lumumba, the structures at state House are undermining the constitutional powers of Government departments.

Former minister and NRM historical Capt Francis Babu has also advised the President of Uganda to re-enforce the IGG’s office with more man power and funding than creating a new Unit.
