Meghan Markle steps out in custom Green Erdem Coat for Canada House Visit with Prince Harry.
While visiting the home of the Canadian High Commission to the United Kingdom in honor of Commonwealth Day on Monday, Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle looked so chic and comfortable.
Meghan Markle stepped out with Prince Harry wearing an embellished green coat dress while Harry was in a navy suit and mauve tie.
The custom coat in a rich shade of green over a matching knee-length dress. The coat featured beaded florals embellishments and is very similar to a look in Erdem’s Fall 2019 collection, which just hit the runway at London Fashion Week last month.
Meghan completed the elegant ensemble with her go-to accessories: black suede pointed-toe bow pumps by Aquazzura and a Givenchy satin clutch with a jewelry clasp.
The couple (Meghan Markle and Prince Harry) are attending an event that will “showcase and celebrate the diverse community of young Canadians living in London and around the U.K.,” Kensington Palace previously announced.
The engagement hits close to home for the Duchess of Sussex, who lived in the Canadian city of Toronto, to film the show Suits, before moving to London to live with Prince Harry. For today’s engagement, the duchess wore a rich green embroidered coat by Erdem, which was a subtle nod to her former home: designer Erdem Moralıoğlu was born in Canada.
