Kampala City Festival 2018 has been CANCELED!

The biggest street party to ever grace the streets of Kampala for the past 6 years; ‘Kampala City Festival’ (KCF) 2018 has been canceled, just a few days to its seventh edition.

Party lovers were set to enjoy the streets of Kampala with no interference of any cars from 5th to 7th Sunday with free performances from different artists on different stages in the city center.

KCCA Executive Director Mrs. Jennifer Musisi this morning announced that the funds will instead be diverted to the removal of residual Asbestos roofs and further improvement of City UPE schools and Construction of a maternity ward at KCCA Kiswa Health Centre, in Nakawa Division to support Kampala mothers to access nearby health services.

“In light of the above refocus, we hereby wish to inform the general public that the Kampala City Festival public activities earlier scheduled for Friday 5th to Sunday 7th October 2018 have been cancelled. Payments made by Traders for street trading spaces on those days will be refunded on production of proof of payment.”

Many companies like NBS TV, Shell, Bell Lager, Bata, Centenary Bank etc were on on board to sponsor the big event.
