Congolese singer Koffi Olomide barred from entering Zambia.

Antoine Christopher Agbepa Mumba alias Koffi Olomide has been barred from entering Zambia as the French ambassador to Zambia Sylvain Berger asks local authorities to arrest him the moment he steps foot in Zambia.

The French embassy in Zambia following directives from the French ambassador have asked the local authorities to arrest Congolese rhumba star Koffi Olomide for various allegations.

Koffi Olomide is wanted on suspicion of sexually assaulting dancers, kidnapping and employing them in France without permit and facilitating their entry and illegal stay.

The French Ambassador Sylvain Berger says Koffi Olomide is facing a number of charges both in Zambia and France.

The Zambian Religious Affairs minister, Godfridah Sumaili confirms through media press release that the Congolese Soukus singer, dancer has been barred from entering Zambia and will be arrested upon arrival in Zambia.
